Villa Esmeralda - Ponta Delgada (Sao Miguel)

We stayed for 3 night and really enjoyed our stay. It was comfy and fantastic close to the center. Besides, it was so close to town centre and Ponta Delgada and airport. Had everything we needed, recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at a place where I could enjoy the wonders of a coffee maker and a dishwasher, while surfing the web with their free WiFi - oh, how luxurious!

Sleeping on a narrow bed and turning into a contortionist when using the inconveniently placed kitchen cupboards? Just a minor inconvenience, really.

We stayed 14 nights here, however it was a such great experience.

The bed was comfortable, and the hypoallergenic pillows were a nice touch, plus having a kitchen to cook in was convenient, and the location in the middle of the city was great.

we had a really great stay in ponta delgada near town centre and botanical garden as well as the center. very friendly and amicable staff, they gave nice tips. the location was comfortable, just a pleasant stroll away from a cultural museum. also, it was based in the middle of the city.

The high-tech access system was so cool, it made us feel like secret agents. The apartment had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy. Plus, the location was spot on - we could easily explore the Jardim Jose do Canto and chill at the Ponta Delgada Marina. It was the perfect base for our young and adventurous crew!

The only thing we wished for was a bit more nightlife around. We were ready to party and have some wild nights out, but the area was a bit quiet for our taste.

We had an amazing value for our money at Villa Esmeralda. The room was bright, comfortable, and well equipped, with a great WiFi connection. The location was central and convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby.

The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

We recently stayed at Villa Esmeralda and had an amazing experience. The apartment was fully equipped, beautifully decorated, and had a fine garden. Claudia, the owner, provided us with great advice for our vacation. The location was perfect, with restaurants, shops, and supermarkets nearby, and many attractions just a few minutes away. The private garage was a bonus, great to explore the rest of the island easily. I highly recommend Villa Esmeralda for a wonderful stay in Ponta Delgada.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decoration of the hotel. The beautiful floral patterns and soft colors made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, with comfortable seating for me to relax and socialize with other guests. As a senior, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility with wide hallways and properly placed handrails to assist me in moving around easily.

I only wished for a more attentive staff. The children working there seemed a bit overwhelmed and at times struggled to provide proper assistance to us senior guests.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, making it easy to explore the area. the room is spacious and spotless, with a huge bathroom and a really nice shower. the apartment also has a cute little outdoor area to relax in.

The overwhelming scents of scented perfume everywhere, including the sheets and towels, were a bit too much.

I absolutely loved the stylish and contemporary design of Villa Esmeralda. The common areas were beautifully decorated and provided a serene and comfortable atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible. The staff ensured that everything was well-maintained and the apartment-style units were fully stocked with all the essentials. The garage parking was a great convenience, making it easy for me to come and go without any trouble. it was a wonderful oasis in the heart of Ponta Delgada.

If I had to suggest one improvement for senior vacationers, it would be to have more assistance available from the hotel staff. Sometimes, as a senior woman, I prefer to have someone readily available to assist me with any questions or concerns.

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel in Ponta Delgada! The room was incredibly comfortable, and the underground parking was a lifesaver. The location was perfect, with easy access to the town centre and botanical garden, as well as the airport. The staff, especially Claudia, was lovely and took such good care of us, making sure all our needs were met. We also appreciated the high-quality equipment provided for our children.
